On April 7, 2017 company Marine Pro Metal Boats Ltd. completed the testing and commissioning of the multifunctional working boat ARTIC-1200 for the customer Federal Budgetary Institution «Marine Rescue Coordination Service of Rosmorrechflot»
ARTIC-1200 is a multifunctional vessel of rigid-inflatable type (RIB), intended for patrol service, rescue operations and oil spill response activities. The above functions are been provided by design solutions: two waterjets are used as a propulsion; a cargo davit (SWL 500 kg) is installed on aft deck.
Such arrangement ensures maneuverability and safety during rescue and routine operations. The RIB's hull shape is a guarantee of safety, reliability and extra stability. The ship is controlled from a closed deckhouse, the pilot and navigator's workplaces are provided with modern navigation aids. deckhouse has a heating and seats for personnel.
The boat is equipped with two diesel engines of 215 kW each, allowing to develop a maximum speed up to 35 knots.
